Parsley potatoes

Parsley Potatoes are very easy to make. It’s a perfect side dish for any meat or fish. It can also be eaten on its own or in the morning with a fried egg! Peel a strip of skin from around the center of each potato, place the potatoes in cold water. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.


Saute onion and garlic for minutes or until tender.

Place the potatoes into a large pot full of salted water. The fresh flavor of parsley is perfect with hot buttered potatoes -it adds a little extra zip. I used this recipe when I did all the cooking at our restaurant, and customers loved it. Clean potatoes and cut off any unsightly parts. Add to pot and cover with water.


Bring to boil and cook until firm but a fork can still pierce through. Add parsley , butter, garlic, and potatoes into a saucepan over medium heat and combine all well. Cover and cook for minutes, stirring occasionally.


Boiled potatoes get an infusion of butter and parsley to make this super easy, three-ingredient side dish.

This is one of my all-time favorite side dish recipes for any meal! This recipe for buttered red potatoes is super easy to make and pleases the pickiest of eaters! If it has potatoes in it, chances are my family makes it. But if I’m being honest, all of these different ways to prepare spuds can take a back seat to my favorite potato dish of all time, parsley potatoes ! Yes, you read that right folk, parsley potatoes.


I mean, really, everyone needs to stop sleeping on parsley potatoes. I altered the recipe and cooked the potatoes in my slow cooker, then added parsley , salt and pepper. You’ll want to serve them with every meal.


They are easy to make , fast, and not too expensive ! And they go with just about anything so why not? They cook faster and they just seem to taste better. I ate these as a chil both my Mom and Grandmother. Meanwhile, tear parsley leaves off the stems and finely chop with a sharp knife. Depending on the size of the potatoes, remove from the heat after – minutes and strain with a sieve.


Heat the butter in a pan, add the potatoes and toss in the butter. Fine dining establishments and casual crab shacks often serve these potatoes on the menu. This is a great recipe for beginner cooks too, since it calls for just main ingredients: Flat leaf parsley , butter and potatoes.


You really can’t go wrong with meat and potatoes… But every once in a while you want something different than a plain old baked potato or mashed potatoes.

This super easy, 3-ingredient side dish is one of my all-time favorite recipes that literally makes the meal. Boiled baby red potatoes get bathed in butter and parsley with kosher salt and black. Red Potatoes are tossed in a mixture of butter, diced onion and garlic, then roasted in a cast iron skillet or baking dish.


Microwave parsley potatoes is such an easy recipe and delicious. This little potato recipe appeared in my first microwave cookbook back in the seventies and I have been making it for forty years. It comes in so handy for a quick potato side dish if you are making a weeknight meal or just anytime you feel like potatoes.
